2010 Snack Shack Shift Schedule

ONLY GAMES PLAYED ON FIELD #2 ARE TO SCHEDULE SS SHIFTS

When games are posted it will indicate the field you are playing on for each game.

DO NOT Schedule parents to work in the Snack Shack if you are playing your game on Field #1

Field #2 is the field closest to the Snack Shack

 

  • If the game finishes early the parents are still required to complete the entire shift.
  • You can divide the shift into two equal parts if your parents want to work ½ games, but be sure you have the shift covered the entire specified time.

 

SATURDAY GAMES

 

10:00 a.m. Game One Parent from each team (home & visitor) from field #2

9:30 a.m.   –  12:00

  • Note this is the first game of the day be sure your parents are at the snack shack ready to work at 9:30 a.m. to complete opening procedures.

 

12:00 Game:  One Parent from each team (home & visitor) from field #2

                           PLUS One additional parent from the Home Team, NOT Visiting Team

11:45 a.m.  -  2:00 p.m.

  • This shift requires a total of 3 parents working in the SS (2 from the Home Team, 1 from the Visiting team) because it is the busy lunch time.

 

2:00 p.m. Game:  One Parent from each team (home & visitor) from field #2

1:45 p.m.  -  4:00 p.m.

 

4:00 p.m. Game:  One Parent from each team (home & visitor) from field #2

3:45 p.m.  -  End of Game – Until closing procedures are completed

 

·       When you call your parents the evening before, confirm that they understand the following:

 

 

Parents must stay after the game ends until all closing procedures are completed.   Give them a heads-up that this can be 30 to 40 minutes longer than the end of the game.

 

Be sure you do not leave the game unless a OOC (Operational Opener/Closer) has arrived or you are sure that the parents know how to securely lock up the Snack Shack by

locking the roll down metal cover from the inside and placing the padlock on the outside of the door.

 

WEEK DAY GAME

 

5:30 p.m.  One Parent from each team (home & visitor) from field #2

5:00 p.m.  -  Until Closing Procedures are complete

 

·        When you call your parents the evening before, confirm that they understand the following:

Parents must arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. (NOT game time) ready to start work at 5:00 p.m. to complete opening procedures.

 

Parents must stay after the game ends until all closing procedures are completed.   Give them a heads-up that this can be 30 to 40 minutes longer than the end of the game.

 

Be sure you do not leave the game unless a OOC (Operational Opener/Closer) has arrived or you are sure that the parents know how to securely lock up the Snack Shack by
